About Faye

Faye
Children’s Author, Literacy Advocate, Cultural Connector

Faye is a children’s author whose journey into storytelling began as a mother on a mission to see diversity reflected in the books her children read. With a professional background in law and the Probation Service, she transitioned her passion for inclusion and representation into a purposeful literary path.

Drawing from her Ghanaian heritage, Faye writes stories that ensure children of all backgrounds see themselves positively represented in literature. Her work champions cultural pride and authenticity, offering joyful, empowering narratives for the next generation of readers.

Based in the UK, Faye leads the LittleTokens Foundation, which supports underserved communities in Ghana by providing literacy resources and building accessible libraries. In 2023, her talent was recognised with a Commended Text award from the prestigious Faber Children’s FAB Prize. Her work is a testament to the belief that every child deserves to find themselves in the pages of a book.
